小型のオゾン発生装置を搭載し、酸化による分解・脱色・脱臭・除菌などの作用を示す「オゾン水」で手を洗うことができる手洗い装置のデザイン。
オゾン水は既存のアルコール消毒などと比較しても肌に優しく、医療機関でも用いられている。新たな手洗い装置ではあるが、十分な効果を得るためには、一定時間以上かけて手を洗ってもらう必要があった。
初めての使用者にも、正しい場所に手を入れてもらい、想定した時間手を洗い続けてもらうために、手を入れる場所のサイズや、アイコンでの表示など、細やかなデザインを行った。
Ozone Water Hand Sanitizer
This hand-washing device features a compact integrated ozone generator that produces “ozone water”—a powerful solution known for its oxidative properties, including decomposition, decolorization, deodorization, and sterilization. Compared to conventional alcohol-based sanitizers, ozone water is gentler on the skin and is widely used in medical institutions.
To achieve maximum effectiveness, users are required to wash their hands for a specific duration. To guide even first-time users to place their hands correctly and maintain the process for the intended time, I meticulously designed every detail—from the precise dimensions of the hand-insertion area to the intuitive icon-based interface.
