記念日やハレの日に開ける記念のボトルを、”目で味わう”ための壁掛けワインボトルフレーム
当プロジェクトがはじまったのは、長きにわたり、上質な「額縁」を作ってきた同社が、新たなインテリア領域に挑戦しようとしていた時期だった。
寸分の狂いもなく枠を作る技術力を伝えながらも、同社の顔である額縁たちと程よい距離感にある、新たな立ち位置の商品を提案したいと考えた。
悩んだ結果、これまで、ハレの日の写真たちを受け止め、壁に時間を固定してきた額縁の役割を、
記念日にプレゼントされたワインやシャンパンボトルを眺めることができるフレームへと、少し変更した。
このギフトボックスは、蓋を底箱と重ねることで、壁にボトルをディスプレイするためのフレームへと変化する。
もらった瞬間を思い出したり、いつか栓を抜く日がやってくるまでの幸せな時間を受け止めることができる、新たな壁掛け商品である。
[Wine Bottle Frame: “Savoring with the Eyes”
A wall-mounted frame designed to display commemorative bottles from anniversaries and special occasions.
This project began when a long-established manufacturer of high-quality picture frames was looking to challenge itself in a new area of interior design.
While showcasing their craftsmanship—creating frames with absolute precision—I wanted to propose a product with a fresh identity, maintaining a respectful distance from their signature picture frames. After much deliberation, I decided to take the traditional role of a frame—which has long captured special moments by fixing photographs to the wall—and subtly shift it toward a frame that allows one to gaze upon a gifted bottle of wine or champagne.
This gift box transforms into a display frame for the wall by simply nesting the lid beneath the base. I believe I have proposed a new type of wall-mounted product: one that invites you to remember the moment you received the gift and holds the happiness of the wait until the day the cork is finally pulled.
